RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) – A Rio Linda-Elverta Chamber of Commerce member, Pittador Brews Specialty Teas & Coffees, has won the prestigious Calling All Dreamers 2025 competition.
Liliette and Stephen Freeman, the passionate owners of Pittador Brews, secured a $20,000 cash prize and will open a brick-and-mortar location at the Old Sacramento Waterfront this summer.
Pittador Brews Specialty Teas & Coffees, a familiar face at local farmers markets, the California State Fair and Cosumnes River College, has been a valued member of the Rio Linda-Elverta Chamber for years.
The business is known for its exceptional premium teas, coffees, craft beers, meads and unique pet-themed drinks, all driven by Pittador Brews Specialty Teas & Coffees’ mission to create a vibrant, pet-friendly community space.
This exciting win comes after Pittador Brews Specialty Teas & Coffees participated in the Calling All Dreamers program, a six-month business incubator produced by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership. The program provides invaluable mentorship, resources and a supportive network for entrepreneurs, helping them turn their dreams into reality.

“The Calling All Dreamers program has been an incredible opportunity for Pittador Brews,” said Liliette Freeman. “It has given us the mentorship, resources and support needed to take our vision from dream to reality.”
For nearly five years, Pittador Brews Specialty Teas & Coffees has been a staple in the area, even serving as the house coffee brand at Rio Java, 956 Oak Lane, Rio Linda. The Freemans’ commitment to quality is evident in their carefully sourced beans from around the world, including Malawi, Sulawesi and Nicaragua, and their wide selection of unique teas.
“With our lease secured in Old Sacramento, the funds we receive will go toward staffing and upgrading to an all-electric coffee roaster, allowing us to roast in-house,” Stephen Freeman said. “This investment will help us deliver the freshest, highest-quality coffee and tea while creating a welcoming space for the community to gather and connect.”
The Rio Linda Chamber of Commerce is incredibly proud of Pittador Brews’ success and excited to see the Freemans bring their unique café experience to Old Sacramento. Chamber officials encourage everyone to support this local business as the Freemans embark on this exciting new chapter.
