RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) - The days are starting to get longer and the weather has been getting warmer. Spring is in the air and summer is right around the corner.
That means it is time for the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District Spring/Summer 2025 Recreation and Activity Guide.
The 2025 Activity Guide is being produced electronically this year and is available for review through the district website at www.rleparks.com.
Some of the upcoming special park events include the district’s annual Eggstravaganza, scheduled for Saturday, April 12, and both the swim-in movies and movies in the park returning during the summer at the Rio Linda High School Pool, the Community Center and Babe Best Park.
The district’s summer activities are going to be full of energy and excitement for family fun. This summer, the district expects to produce amazing experiences for residents of all ages, according to the Rio Linda Everta Recreation and Park District website.
The pool is scheduled to open on June 13 and the summer camp is looking at some incredible changes for all campers, according to the Rio Linda Everta Recreation and Park District website.
Check out the aquatics section of the activity guide for your swimming lesson needs. Also, the Rio Linda Elverta AquaKnights youth swim team will begin their season in April. Registration is open now for youth and teens. The swim team program continues to be the “Place to Be” for youth in the summer.
The Recreation and Park District is looking for summer staff and lifeguards. Application forms are available on the district website at rleparks.com as well as at the Recreation and Park District office.
The Recreation and Park District is finalizing its District Strategic Plan Update. Stay tuned to the recreation and park district’s social media and website for upcoming events to get involved.
