The firework stand supports The Rio Linda/Elverta Country Faire

RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) - YES, there will be fireworks for sale this year in Rio Linda. 

I spoke with Kris McFunstigate about her stand.  They will be set up at the Archway Market Place this year.

“We start on 28th of June until 4th of July.  Our hours will be from 9 until 10 or we sell out of product,” said McFunstigate.

“Our firework stand supports The Rio Linda/Elverta Country Faire, McFunstigate noting, “it is our biggest fundraiser of the year and vital to keeping the Country Faire free for all whom attend.”

“Unfortunately, there is a big shortage of fireworks available this year”, she added. They would be getting only half of what they gave us last year. She intends to keep it all fun with chalk art Logos from local businesses aiding their cause.

There is also the FFA (Future Farmers of America) booth set up on Q street and Rio Linda Blvd. I saw other booths being set up also. The choices are here in Rio Linda.  Masks or no masks the order of the day.  Enjoy, but, put safety first when messing with ANYTHING to do with fire. We all know how dry it is these past summers.
